My children often get invited to birthday parties of their classmates – last weekend they came home with loots and a lot of little party stuffs – candies, balloons, stickers etc. although I can tell they’re already responsible where to throw their plastic wrappings, I just thought, throwing them to the right bin, the bio and the non-bio degradable one doesn’t actually solve our garbage problem.
I really don’t know where to point the arrow, to these kids whose childhood memories are at one point attached to candies which obviously come in wrappers which they, I guess it’s safe to say as I did it myself too, associate their memories to, yeah because by just looking at a Bazooka wrapper I can’t help it but laugh too as I associate it with one of my crazy deeds during the heyday, oh god, don’t ask me the details, or the manufacturers that somehow help drive the economy of this society. I just thought solving the world’s garbage problem is as illusive as solving world peace.
What do you think?
