I offer these yellow flowers to my ‘kababayans’ who lost their loved ones, their properties, their hopes, their will, their dreams in the recent wrath of typhoon Sendong/Washi that hit Northern Mindanao last Saturday.

I felt for them because once we here in Davao was also hit probably by same ‘ghost ship’ .. that left thousands of people homeless and many had died particularly elderly and children … Seeing the images on my television screen made my heart bleed … I guess we’re now reaping the consequences of our unlikely doings to Mother Nature in the past and its taking back the hardest way… and it’s my prayer that we will learn our lessons and do our share in the littlest way possible to make this reality a tragic thing of the past and move towards claiming a promise of a new beginning and moving on  forward with peace, harmony and love in our hearts. .
